Your safari starts here, and we're so excited to be here with you. Meet your guide and ask any questions you may have. Then let's go out together and go on the safari you've been waiting for. You're in for a real safari treat when you visit Amboseli. It's one of Kenya's most beautiful parks, thanks to the fact that Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak (5895m), dominates most views here. Amboseli is also famous for its large population of elephants with big tusks, and you have an excellent chance of seeing lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests and many gazelles while you're here. With 420 bird species recorded, it's also a great place for birding.

It's time for one of the great safari experiences, a guided game drive through Amboseli. Watch for elephants, lions, and maybe even the clouds parting over Mt Kilimanjaro.

You'll be joining us in Amboseli National Park for a guided game drive. It's a fantastic opportunity to see some of the animals you came so far to see.

Day 3
Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha is the busiest and highest of Kenya's Rift Valley lakes. The lake has a fascinating history, as a weekend escape for the wealthy during the colonial era. These days, it serves a similar purpose for a refreshingly diverse cross-section of Kenyan society. There is lots to do along the southern shore, and keep an eye out for hippos, zebras and giraffes.

Watch for hippos, birdlife and pretty lake views on your boat trip on Lake Naivasha. It's a terrific way to leave behind the crowds and enjoy the beauty of this Rift Valley lake.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park has lots of fans, and you're sure to be one after you visit. Although the park is only minutes away from the busy town of Nakuru, it has an incredible wildlife offering. This includes large numbers of both black and white rhino, endangered Rothschild's giraffes, pink flamingos, and lions that climb trees. This is one of only a handful of parks in Africa where you can see lions up in the branches. The view out over the lake from high on the escarpment is superb, while the lake itself is surrounded by acacia woodlands.

Get to know Lake Nakuru National Park on a guided game drive. We'll take you out in a safari vehicle with an expert guide to go looking for the park's lions, rhinos, flamingos and more.

Day 5
Masai Mara National Reserve
You're in for a really special safari experience on your visit to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This is one of the best places in Kenya to look for big cats. You may see so many elephant, giraffe, Thomson's gazelle, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and hippo that you stop noticing them after a while! And these are just the start: watch for the reserve's population of black rhino, which are present in the Mara Triangle although they can be pretty hard to spot. Beautiful savannah grasslands, acacia trees, distant escarpments and more than 500 possible bird species are other highlights you can look forward to.

You'll be heading down more safari trails in search of animals in Lake Nakuru National Park when we take you on a guided game drive. This is the best thing about many safaris, and you'll hopefully see many animals.
